Jr. Geologist

• Assist in geological mapping, sampling, and data collection to identify lithology, mineralization, and structural features, including preparation of basic geological maps.
• Support drilling, pit, and trench sampling activities, including core logging, proper sample handling, labelling, and documentation.
• Assist in land surveying and exploration activities such as geophysical and geochemical methods to determine site characteristics and mineral potential.
• Maintain accurate records of samples, laboratory submissions, results tracking, and contribute to data entry and analysis of geological findings.
• Support monitoring of ROM grade, ensure compliance with specifications, and assist in preparing geological reports while working across assigned exploration and mining sites.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior internship or fieldwork experience in exploration or mining is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of geological mapping, mineral exploration techniques, and core logging procedures.
• Familiar with field sampling methods, geological software, and basic data analysis tools is preferred.
• Physically fit and willing to work in outdoor and remote exploration or mining sites.
• Strong willingness to learn, good teamwork skills, and able to follow instructions from senior geologists or supervisors.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal.
• Able to maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and discipline in data recording and field documentation.
