• Job Description.

• Experience on Linux.

• Preferable operating system is Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat Linux.

• Troubleshooting knowledge on hardware ie: Desktops and Local servers.

• Troubleshooting knowledge on and Networking ie: LAN and WAN.

• Software installation using verious methods in Linux ie: apt, yum, rpm and sourece method.

• Installation of WAMP/LAMP (APACHE / NGINX / MYSQL / POSTGRES / PHP).

• Installation and Configuration of Webervers ie: Apache/HTTPD/NGINX.

• Installation and Configuration of Database Servers ie: MySql5 /POSTGRESQL.

• Database Administration ie: Backups and Restore in different formats.

• Installation of Java tools and technologies.

• Installation and configurations and Deployment in Tomcat.

• Basic knowledge of Shell scripting.

• Exposure to various open source web applications like WordPress,Magento, Drupal, Moodle,.

• Joomla, Sugarcrm, Liferay, Alfresco etc Configurations of Development environments.

• Use of Monitoring tools ie: NagiOS, ZenOSS, MRTG,.

• Exposure on Cloud environment.

• Additional Skills and Technologies.

• e: File Servers:NFS,SAMBA,FTP.

• Version Control: CSVN, Subversion.

• Network Services: DHCP, DNS.

• Backup Tools: zip, tar, bzip.

• RHCE Certification will be added advantage.
