Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically capable Jr. Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP team in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will support the execution, supervision, inspection, testing, and commissioning of mechanical works, particularly for pumping stations, water infrastructure, and MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision and execution of mechanical MEP works at project sites.
• Support installation of pumps, valves, piping, mechanical equipment, and associated systems.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, and other disciplines.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor mechanical works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover of mechanical systems.
• Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests, material documentation, and other project records.
• Assist in material quantity verification and preparation of material requirements.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with senior engineers for appropriate technical solutions.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, quality requirements, and HSE procedures.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings, technical reports, and O&M documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and authorities when required.
• Perform other engineering duties assigned by the Project Manager or Senior Engineer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 - 6 years of relevant experience in MEP, mechanical construction, maintenance, or pumping station projects.
• Knowledge of pumps, piping, valves, HVAC, and mechanical equipment is an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Good technical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work at project sites and travel within Abu Dhabi/UAE when required.
• UAE/GCC project experience will be an advantage.

• Infrastructure projects
