Jr Pharmacist

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting pharmacy operations and ensuring accurate and timely dispensing of medicines as per prescriptions and hospital protocols.

Responsibilities

• Reviews prescriptions for completeness and refers discrepancies or medication-related queries to the senior pharmacist or prescribing doctor.

• Provides patients with clear instructions on medicine use as prescribed.

• Maintains medicine stock, monitors expiry dates and ensures appropriate storage conditions.

• Supports accurate billing, stock updates, inventory reconciliation and pharmacy documentation.

• Follows medication-safety practices and hospital pharmacy policies.

• Requires attention to detail, good communication and teamwork skills, and a willingness to work in rotational shifts.
