Jr. Pod Lead (AI Visibility)

About the role

The Pod Lead owns client outcomes, strategy, and relationship management for assigned AiDisco clients. The role operates primarily at a strategic level, but is hands-on where it counts: the Pod Lead steps in to execute deliverables directly when the work demands it, and is accountable for managing project deliverables through the pod, directing the workflow, keeping internal working files current, and ensuring every deliverable passes quality review before it reaches the client.

Key responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and discovery sessions, translate audits into structured execution roadmaps, and define prompt targets, page hierarchy, and authority direction
• Set weekly priorities and delivery plans, manage project deliverables end to end by sequencing workflow stages, assigning work to pod specialists, and tracking each deliverable from kickoff through client submission
• Maintain internal working files as the single source of truth, updated at the close of every stage
• Step in to produce deliverables directly when timelines, complexity, or capacity require it
• Review outputs for strategic alignment and quality-gate compliance, and approve final deliverables before client submission
• Own all strategic communication with clients, lead weekly updates and monthly reviews, and manage expectations and scope boundaries
• Monitor visibility and citation signals and identify opportunities for growth and expansion
• Act as the quality gate for the pod: enforce stage-by-stage review standards before work advances or reaches the client
• Manage 3 to 5 clients concurrently
• Maintain response time within 24 hours

• Knowledgeable across the disciplines that drive AI visibility: authority, quality assurance, content creation, reporting and analytics, schema and metadata
• Understands how AI assistants select and cite sources, and the role of third-party citations, reviews, directories, and entity profiles
• Fluent in AI visibility measurement: citation frequency, share of answer, competitive positioning, and sentiment
• Understands the technical foundations of AI discoverability: structured data, metadata, indexability, rendering, and AI crawler access
