Jr. Process Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Junior Process Engineer to join the engineering team at Primepack Technologies, Inc. This is a full-time position based in Calamba City, Laguna. As a Junior Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, optimising, and improving manufacturing processes that drive our operations. You will work alongside experienced engineers to develop and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across our production facilities. Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of manufacturing processes to meet production requirements and quality standards
• Conduct process analysis and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and maintenance departments to optimise operational efficiency
• Document and maintain detailed process specifications, standard operating procedures, and process flow diagrams
• Support the implementation of new processes and technologies, including pilot testing and validation
• Monitor process performance metrics and collect data to identify trends and areas requiring attention
• Participate in troubleshooting activities to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions
• Conduct equipment evaluations and recommend solutions to enhance process reliability and output
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations for management and stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of innovation and operational excellence

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process design principles, and production operations
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools such as CAD, simulation software, or process modelling applications
• Solid grasp of quality management systems, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations relevant to manufacturing environments
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred experience with process optimization, plant operations, or manufacturing engineering roles gained through internships or graduate programmes
• Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and data visualization techniques
