Jr. Project Manager – Retail Construction

Fast-Paced/High Energy/Hands-on/Growth Opportunity

We are looking for an energetic highly organized Jr. Project Manager to join our fast-paced retail construction team. This is a hands-on position for someone who can multitask, move quickly, stay organized, and take ownership of project from start to finish.

The right candidate will be comfortable juggling multiple projects, deadlines, subcontractors, vendors, budgets, and customers while keeping everything moving forward.

What You’ll Do

· Review plans, specifications, and project requirements

· Bid and estimate retail construction projects.

· Qualify subcontractors and vendors

· Assist with selecting and coordinating subcontractors

· Prepare and manage contracts, purchase orders and project documents.

· Establish and maintain project budgets

· Track job costs, commitments, and profitability

· Coordinate schedules, materials, subcontractors, and field activities

· Communicate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel

· Prepare and submit progress billings and invoices

· Monitor project progress and resolve issues quickly

· Maintain accurate project files and documentation

· Track change orders and additional work

· Manage projects through completion

· Prepare project closeout documents and ensure all outstanding items are completed

· Help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

What we are looking for

· Construction experience required, retail construction is a strong plus

· Previous estimating, project coordination, or project management experience preferred

· Strong understanding of construction process, budgets, contracts and job costing

· Excellent organizational and communication skills

· Extremely strong multitasking abilities

· Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects at the same time

· Energetic, proactive, and able to work in a high-pressure, fast paced environment

· Strong attention to detail

· Excellent follow-through – you don’t let things fall through the cracks

· Comfortable working with numbers, budgets, invoices, and project documentation

· Must be a problem solver who takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do.

Pay: $74,900.00 - $90,300.00 per year
