Junior Proposal & Estimation Engineer – Piping Projects

We are looking for a Junior Proposal & Estimation Engineer with experience in metallic and non-metallic piping projects.sal & Estimation Engineer – Piping Projects

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in piping projects
• Experience in cost estimation, proposals, tendering, and quotations for metallic and non-metallic piping systems
• Good planning, coordination, and communication skills
• Good command of written and spoken English

Key Responsibilities:

• Study and review tender documents, RFQs, drawings, specifications, codes, and standards provided by clients.
• Review Process, Piping, Structural, and Mechanical requirements and translate them into accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare cost estimates, proposals, quotations, and bid documents for metallic and non-metallic piping projects.
• Calculate required resources, including manpower, materials, equipment, and execution hours, for accurate project costing.
• Estimate costs related to fabrication, testing, painting/coating, site erection, installation, and pre-commissioning activities.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and commercial summaries.
• Prepare profit breakdowns and calculate the expected/average profit of the order after award.
• Coordinate with the production/fabrication team regarding drawings, technical requirements, and related queries.
• Follow up and coordinate with clients and EPC contractors regarding quotations, technical clarifications, and proposals.
• Maintain proper records of submitted quotations, estimates, and tender documents.

Preferred Candidate:

• Strong understanding of piping fabrication and site installation activities
• Experience working with metallic and non-metallic piping systems
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and numerical skills

Experience: 3–4 years in Proposal/Estimation, preferably within piping, pipeline, oil & gas, industrial, or EPC projects.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
