Jr Pytha engineer

Key Responsibilities

A. Design and 3D Modelling

• Prepare 3D models of furniture, cabinets, wardrobes, counters, display units, and retail fixtures using PYTHA software.
• Assist senior engineers in developing interior and shopfitting designs based on client requirements.
• Make design modifications as per instructions from the Senior Design Engineer or Design Manager.
• Ensure dimensions, materials, and design details are accurately incorporated into the model.

B. Technical Drawings

• Prepare 2D technical drawings, elevations, sections, and assembly drawings.
• Generate production drawings for the wood factory and site installation team.
• Prepare panel details, component dimensions, and cutting information wherever required.
• Maintain accuracy in measurements, tolerances, and drawing specifications.

C. Production Coordination

• Coordinate with the Production, PPC, CNC, and Quality departments to clarify drawing-related queries.
• Assist in preparing cutting lists, material details, and component information.
• Ensure drawings are practical for manufacturing and assembly.
• Incorporate approved changes before releasing drawings for production.

D. Material and Hardware Details

• Understand the basic properties and applications of plywood, MDF, particle board, laminates, veneers, and solid wood.
• Identify hardware requirements such as hinges, drawer channels, handles, and other furniture fittings.
• Assist in checking material thickness, edge-banding requirements, and component specifications.

E. Documentation and Quality

• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and approved designs.
• Follow company drawing standards, file-naming conventions, and document-control procedures.
• Check drawings for dimensional errors and missing details before submission.
• Support the team in resolving design and production-related issues.

3. Educational Qualification

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Furniture Design, or a related field.
• Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experience may be considered.

4. Technical Skills Required

• Basic knowledge of PYTHA software and 3D modelling.
• Understanding of 2D drawings, dimensions, sections, and elevations.
• Basic knowledge of furniture design and woodworking.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of CNC manufacturing and furniture assembly is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

7. Reporting Structure

• Reports to: Senior PYTHA Engineer / Senior Design Engineer / Design Manager
• Coordinates with: Design, PPC, Production, CNC, Quality, Purchase, and Project teams.
• Location: Design office / Wood manufacturing facility, as applicable.

8. General Responsibilities

• Follow company policies, working hours, safety rules, and departmental procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of company designs, drawings, and client information.
• Complete additional design and technical tasks assigned by the reporting manager.
• Continuously improve knowledge of PYTHA software, furniture construction, and manufacturing

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
