We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer with strong experience in construction, landscaping, and/or swimming pool projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications, and maintaining project quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures and quality plans for landscape, swimming pool, and construction projects.
• Conduct inspections of ongoing site activities and ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, inspection requests and quality records.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, project managers, site engineers and subcontractors regarding quality-related matters.
• Inspect incoming materials, equipment and products to ensure compliance with approved specifications and material submittals.
• Monitor construction activities including civil works, hardscape, softscape, irrigation, swimming pool works, waterproofing, MEP-related works and finishing activities.
• Raise and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Review method statements, material submittals, shop drawings and technical documentation from a quality perspective.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify quality issues at an early stage.
• Ensure proper documentation of inspection reports, test results, approvals, material certificates and quality records.
• Coordinate required testing and inspections with approved laboratories and third-party agencies.
• Monitor subcontractor and supplier compliance with project quality requirements.
• Participate in internal quality audits and client/consultant inspections.
• Prepare periodic quality reports and maintain project QA/QC documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE standards, project specifications and relevant international standards.
• Support project teams in resolving technical and quality issues and preventing recurring defects.
• Ensure proper handover documentation, snagging and close-out of projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction, landscaping, swimming pools, infrastructure or related projects.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
• Strong experience in site inspections and quality documentation.
• Good knowledge of ITPs, method statements, NCRs, material inspections and testing procedures.
• Experience with landscape and/or swimming pool projects will be highly preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / Quality Management Systems is an advantage.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with site teams, consultants and subcontractors.
