Jr. Technician

Role Description The Jr. Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Louisville, KY. This role supports the maintenance, repair, and refurbishing of retread plant equipment and Shamrock's Automatic Marking System under the guidance of senior technicians. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with equipment inspections, performing basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and supporting scheduled maintenance activities. The Jr. Technician helps prepare tools, parts, and materials for service work, maintains a clean and safe work area, and documents work performed according to company standards. This position may also assist with equipment installations, testing, and calibration, and occasionally support on-site technical service at customer locations.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

o Highschool diploma or equivalent (preferred)

o Must be authorized to work in the United States

o Interest in hands-on mechanical work

Skills and Competencies:

o Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

o Previous experience in machine refurbishing and repair/mechanical skills

(preferred)

o Knowledge of electrical systems and components (preferred)

o Experience with hand and power tools

o Strong problem-solving skills

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team

o Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time

Certifications:

• o Forklift certified is a bonus
