We are looking for Junior and Senior QA Engineers to join our growing team in Makati City! In this role, you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of software applications by identifying defects, documenting issues, conducting tests, and collaborating on solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify and Analyze Bugs: Detect software defects, incorrect data, unexpected behavior, and other issues that may affect application functionality and user experience.
• Reproduce and Isolate Issues: Investigate reported bugs, identify their root causes where possible, and document clear, step-by-step instructions to reproduce them.
• Maintain Detailed Bug Reports: Record and organize defects in databases, tracking systems, or documentation, providing accurate descriptions and relevant details to support investigation and resolution.
• Improve Testing Efficiency: Research, develop, or recommend tools and processes that can streamline testing activities and improve overall productivity.
• Write Unit Tests: Develop and execute unit tests to verify individual components and help ensure software reliability.
• Debug Applications: Analyze application behavior, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist in identifying potential causes of software defects.
• Perform Hardware Compatibility Testing: Understand computer hardware configurations and assist in setting up compatibility testing rigs to evaluate software performance across different hardware setups.
• Support Quality Improvement: Work with team members to improve testing procedures, identify recurring issues, and help maintain high software quality standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field; a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or other computing-related courses is an advantage.
• Basic to advanced knowledge of at least one programming language, such as C, C++, C#, Objective-C, Java, or Python, depending on experience level.
• Ability to work with or analyze large amounts of data using programming or technical tools.
• Experience in game testing and bug reporting is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies, defects, and unexpected software behavior.
• Logical and analytical thinking skills when examining software applications and troubleshooting issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and self-motivation.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new processes, tools, and technologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Willing to work onsite in Makati City, Monday to Saturday.
