Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of fresh juices, smoothies, and specialty beverages using professional equipment.
• Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales accurately.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders clearly, and answering questions about menu options.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the café area, including food preparation stations and serving areas.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness regularly.
• Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or background in coffee preparation is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities. If you speak Spanish it would be a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations.
