Junior Account Manager

Established education accounts, commission that rewards results

This is a sales role with a real pipeline from day one. A well-established Melbourne IT services business is looking for a Junior Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of education accounts — schools and education providers who already buy managed IT services, devices and support year after year. You'll have a target, commission on what you close, and a senior sales leader coaching you from the start.

• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of education accounts — device refreshes, managed services, upgrades and more
• Build pipeline through calls, meetings and site visits rather than waiting for inbound orders
• Write quotes and proposals, take opportunities from first conversation through to close
• Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to make sure deals land well and lead to the next one
• Keep your CRM up to date so you always have a clear view of where your number stands
• Early-career background in sales, account management, business development or a target-driven customer role
• Confident on the phone and in person, with the organisation to run several deals at once
• Genuine interest in technology — enough to hold a credible conversation about IT services and devices
• Experience in education, MSP or IT hardware sales, or familiarity with Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus
• Melbourne-based with Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
