Position: Junior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to support our Head Office finance and accounting operations. The candidate should have 2 to 4 years of relevant experience and good knowledge of accounting processes, documentation, and financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, bills, and supporting documents.
• Perform bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in maintaining purchase and expense records.
• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors regarding accounting documentation.
• Assist in preparation of MIS reports and monthly financial statements.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Support the Senior Accountant/Accounts Manager in routine accounting activities.
• Ensure accuracy and timely updating of accounting entries.
• Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting-related documentation.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Good knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime.
• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and journal entries.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Experience in bank and ledger reconciliation.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Candidates with Construction / Infrastructure / EPC industry experience will be preferred.
• Should have practical knowledge of day-to-day accounting operations.
• Candidates currently residing in Hyderabad are preferred.
