Junior Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process monthly and quarterly government tax filings and remittances in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily accounting records, including monitoring of disbursements and financial transactions.
• Handle payroll processing, invoicing, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger records.
• Verify employee timekeeping records and ensure accurate wage computations.
• Assist external auditors during financial audits by preparing and providing required documents and data for verification.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and government-mandated tax regulations.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
• Preferably a fresh graduate or with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
