Key Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Compute monthly gross and net salaries based on attendance, shift logs, and company policies.
• Statutory Compliance: Deduct and remit accurate taxes, provident fund (PF), and professional tax according to local labor laws.
• Payslip Generation: Design and issue clear, itemized salary slips showing earnings, deductions, and year-to-date totals.
• Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date payroll registers, employee ledgers, and audit-ready financial documents.
• Dispute Resolution: Address employee queries regarding salary discrepancies, tax deductions, or delayed payments.

Essential Skills Needed

• Software Proficiency: Strong grasp of Ms Office.
• Tax Knowledge: Deep understanding of income tax regulations, social security contributions, and local labor acts.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in numerical data entry and financial calculations to prevent payroll errors.
• Confidentiality: Strict handling of sensitive employee compensation and personal financial data.
