Junior Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and document effective processes and procedure s for effective control of the accounting activities under supervision
• Conducts asset tagging and assists in the conduct of inventory counts of assets
• Prepare working papers for BIR reportorial requirements of the company
• File monthly compliance requirements with SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-ibig
• Does Month-end Closing Activities
• Liase with third party processor of business permits for all company properties, including those of the affiliate companies
• Ensure the timely compliance with BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-Ibig and SEC requirements
• Provide back-up support to Sr. Accounting Supervisor
• Prepares journal entries and general ledger and other books of accounts for submission to BIR at the end of the taxable year

Job Qualifications:

• College graduate preferably Accountancy or Management Accounting
• Experience of at least 1 year
• Licensed Certified Public Accountant is an advantage
• Medium risk decision making and may result in budget over run
• Can effectively communicate and interpret established plans
• Can start immediately
