What You'll Do

You’ll work collaboratively across our compliance and management accounting teams, including:

• Year-end financial statements and income tax returns
• GST returns
• Research & Development Tax Incentive applications
• Monthly management reporting
• Cashflow forecasting
• Process improvements
• Exposure to a broad range of other accounting and finance areas right through from bookkeeping to capital raising

What We're Looking For

• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Working towards, or keen to start, your CA/CPA qualification.
• Experience: 1-3 years' experience in an accounting or finance role (or relevant internship/graduate experience).
• Systems: No specific experience is required, however exposure to Xero is an advantage.
• Curiosity: An interest in exploring and learning
• Strong work ethic: willingness to have a go
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to tasks, ensuring accuracy in all work.
• Adaptability: Comfortable context-switching between different types of work and priorities.
• Interest: A genuine interest in the startup ecosystem and supporting Kiwi businesses striving to succeed.
• Communication: Speak and write fluently in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
