Junior Accountant

Role & responsibilities:

• Maintain and update daily financial transactions and accounting records.

• Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, receipts, and payment documents.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and filings.

• Monitor expenses, income, and cash flow.

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, sales, and expenses.

• Prepare journal entries and ensure proper ledger posting.

• Coordinate with auditors during audits and provide required documents.

• Follow up on outstanding payments and vendor/customer accounts.

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable regulations.

• Use accounting software such as Tally Prime, Excel, Microsoft Office etc.

• Support management with financial analysis and accounting-related information.
