Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience with Odoo or other ERP/accounting software .

Key Responsibilities

• • Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Odoo/ERP .
  • Manage purchase, sales, expenses, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
  • Maintain customer, vendor, and general ledgers.
  • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) .
  • Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
  • Prepare and verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
  • Track outstanding payments and receivables.
  • Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance .
  • Support monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Sales, and other teams for accounting-related requirements.
  • Assist in audits and ensure proper maintenance of financial documentation.

Requirements

• • B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
  • 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience .
  • Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP or any other ERP/accounting software is mandatory/preferred .
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets .
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, GST, TDS, AP, AR, and reconciliations.
  • Good analytical and numerical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred

• • Experience working with Odoo ERP .
  • Experience in AgriTech, FMCG, trading, procurement, supply chain, or startup environments .
  • Candidates who are comfortable working across finance and business operations.
