Junior Accountant

About the role

Huayu KJ Supply & Leasing Corp. is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Junior Accountant ready to roll up their sleeves, sharpen their skills, and grow alongside a team of experienced finance professionals in our BGC office. You won't just be filing documents in a corner — you'll be right in the middle of the action.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, internal reports, and accounting schedules that help management make informed decisions
• Record and track daily financial transactions — expenses, payments, collections, and adjustments — with accuracy and care
• Reconcile general ledger entries and bank statements to keep the books clean and reliable
• Support both Accounts Payable and Receivable: processing payments, coordinating with suppliers, monitoring collections, and following up on outstanding balances
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and report preparation
• Assist with statutory and tax compliance requirements including BIR filings and SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth documentation
• Coordinate across departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies
• Keep accounting records, vouchers, and supporting documents organized and audit-ready

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Accounting Technology
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
• Proficient in MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a definite plus
• Sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Organized, responsible, and genuinely eager to keep learning
• A collaborative team player with a professional and respectful attitude
• Comfortable working onsite, meeting deadlines, and taking direction effectively
