About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Head Office team in Auckland CBD.

Our Finance Team is entering an exciting phase of process improvement, and we are seeking someone who can provide valuable support as our business continues to evolve. Reporting directly to the Finance Director and Manager, you will work closely with the team, providing accurate and timely transactional and administrative support across accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, stock management and general finance tasks, ensuring day‑to‑day finance operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare and issue invoices and follow up outstanding balances
• Process staff expenses and supplier payments
• Support bank payment processing and maintain records
• Perform daily and periodic bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records, filing, and documentation
• Assist with data entry and transaction coding in NetSuite
• Respond to supplier, store, and internal finance queries
• Provide general support to the finance team as required

Key competencies & experience

Essential:

• Prior experience in AP/AR or finance administration
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organisation and time‑management skills
• Clear written and verbal communication

Desirable:

• NetSuite experience
• Retail or multi‑store environment experience
