Junior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join TCIL CO., LTD in Bangkok on a part-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting expertise within a dynamic organization whilst maintaining flexibility in your working schedule. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Accounts Payable function, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and contributing to the overall financial health of the company. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in accounting whilst managing other commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Processing invoices and expense reports in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Maintaining accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions
• Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies
• Preparing cheques and processing payments to vendors in a timely manner
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly accounts payable reports and reconciliations
• Verifying the accuracy of invoices against purchase orders and delivery documentation
• Maintaining supplier databases and updating vendor information as required
• Supporting the accounts payable team with general administrative and clerical duties
• Ensuring compliance with company financial policies and internal controls

What we're looking for

• Qualification or certification in accounting or finance, such as a diploma or degree in Accounting
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and generally accepted accounting practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai
• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is advantageous but not essential
• Reliability and commitment to meeting deadlines
