Junior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented, driven, and proactive Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at 5 Team Events & Exhibition LLC. Located in Ras Al Khor, our company thrives in the fast-paced events and exhibitions industry. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial operations, support accurate record-keeping, and assist with UAE VAT compliance and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations: Maintain day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.

VAT Compliance: Assist in the preparation, computation, and timely filing of UAE VAT returns in compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.

MIS Reporting: Prepare and assist in generating Management Information System (MIS) reports, periodic financial statements, cash flow statements, and budget variances to support management decision-making.

Invoicing & Billing: Handle client invoicing, follow up on receivables, process vendor payments, and maintain clear records of project-based costs (common in the events and exhibition sector).

Audit Support: Assist senior management or external auditors during financial audits by organizing supporting documents, vouchers, and schedules.

Expense Tracking: Monitor, verify, and reconcile warehouse and operational expenses.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on accounting experience within the UAE.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

Technical Knowledge:

Solid understanding of UAE VAT laws and regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar ERP systems).

Strong command of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, financial spreadsheets) for MIS reporting.

Soft Skills: High level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Location Advantage: Candidates currently residing near or within commuting distance to Ras Al Khor Industrial Area will be given preference.
