JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support our day-to-day accounting and finance activities. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, handling accounting entries, coordinating with vendors/customers, and assisting the accounts team with regular financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and entries.
• Handle sales and purchase invoices, receipts, and payment entries.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Verify bills, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain bank-related records.
• Assist in tracking outstanding payments and receivables.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting and financial documents.
• Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding accounts-related matters.
• Assist in preparing basic reports, statements, and MIS.
• Support the Senior Accountant/Accounts Manager in daily accounting activities.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements

• Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / equivalent accounting qualification.
• Experience: 0–2 years; freshers with good accounting knowledge may also apply.
• Basic knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.

Salary

₹20,000 per month, depending on skills and experience.
