Job Title: Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and company policies.

• Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.

• Monitor project costs, budgets, and variances to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to analyze project financials and provide valuable insights.

• Assist in the preparation of payroll, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support decision-making.

• Conduct periodic audits and internal control assessments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Assist with the preparation of tax filings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the real estate development or construction industry.

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and financial reporting tools.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
