Junior Accountant

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our accounting firm subsidiary. In this role, you will manage routine financial tracking for our diverse client portfolio while collaborating closely with our parent firm's centralized finance teams. Key Responsibilities

Client Bookkeeping & Data Entry

• Maintain accurate general ledgers for multiple client accounts by recording daily financial transactions.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring vendor invoices and client billings are handled promptly.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and intercompany transactions with high accuracy.

Financial Reporting & Support

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to local accounting standards and parent company formats.
• Help assemble audit workpapers and documentation requested by senior auditors or external reviewers.
• Track fixed assets, calculate monthly depreciation, and process standard journal entries.

Tax & Regulatory Compliance

• Prepare basic tax schedules and assist in drafting corporate tax, withholding tax, and VAT filings.
• Ensure all client files and accounting processes comply with local statutory regulations and corporate internal controls.
• Maintain clean, organized digital records of all source documents and financial correspondence.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting or any related course. CPA is an advantage.
• At least year of accounting experience; internship experience in an accounting or public audit firm is preferred.
• Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.
• Basic proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
• Strong analytical thinking, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively across multiple client tasks.
