Junior Accountant

New Bridge International School

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our administration and finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting entries and maintain proper accounting records
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and supporting documents
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Assist with monthly closing and preparation of management accounts
• Maintain student fee and payment records
• Assist with payroll-related accounting records
• Prepare documentation for auditors, tax agents and other statutory requirements
• Perform general administrative and finance-related duties when required

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience with AutoCount will be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Careful, responsible and well-organised
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage

Working Location: Sutera Utama, Johor Bahru Position: Full-time
