Job Summary

Infinix Holding Limited is looking for a Junior Accountant to support day-to-day bookkeeping, routine financial documentation, and basic accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in accounting principles, hands-on familiarity with Zoho Books (or similar software), and a proactive approach to leveraging generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) to streamline routine reporting, drafting communications, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping & Transactions: Handle daily bookkeeping, recording income, expenses, purchases, and general ledger entries accurately.
• Invoicing & Documentation: Issue, track, and archive invoices, vendor bills, payment receipts, and supporting financial documentation.
• Payables & Receivables: Maintain accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) ledgers and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Reconciliations: Perform routine bank, credit card, and petty cash reconciliations.
• System Management: Update and maintain financial records using Zoho Books.
• AI & Workflow Optimization: Utilize generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude) to assist with drafting professional financial correspondence, summarizing data, cleaning up reports, and simplifying routine accounting workflows.
• Financial Reporting: Assist the finance team with preparing monthly financial summaries, variance reports, and routine schedules.
• Filing & Organization: Ensure proper digital and physical filing of tax records, receipts, and compliance documents.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate closely with operations and finance teams regarding payment processing and record verification.
• General Support: Assist with other administrative and routine financial tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Core Knowledge: Clear understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, ledger accounts, and basic accounting principles.
• Software Skills: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and general accounting software.
• AI Tool Familiarity: Basic working familiarity with AI assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) for daily productivity, prompt writing, and text/data formatting.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy, neatness, and focus on numbers.
• Communication & Organization: Good written and verbal communication skills; well-organized.
• Experience Level: Fresh graduates with strong accounting fundamentals and tech-savviness are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Skills

• Practical experience or training in Zoho Books or similar ERP systems.
• Practical understanding of bank reconciliations, invoicing workflows, and ledger management.
• Ability to write clear prompts for AI tools to speed up email drafting, Excel formula creation, and documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and hit routine reporting deadlines.

Work Arrangement

Format: Hybrid (combination of office-based work and remote flexibility).

Compensation: PKR 40,000 – 50,000 per month (commensurate with skills and experience).

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
