JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance

• Prepare and file BIR tax returns and reports in coordination with the Accounting Manager..
• Monitor tax deadlines, payments, and regulatory changes.
• Maintain tax records and assist with BIR audits.

Cost Accounting

• Prepare and analyze cost reports.
• Monitor costs, variances, inventory, and allocations.
• Support budgeting and cost-control initiatives.

Financial Reporting & Controls

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing.

• Reconcile accounts and support audits.

• Prepare management reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Perform other tasks or special assignments as directed by the Superior and/or Management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 1 year accounting experience
• Basic knowledge of Philippine tax compliance/BIR procedures.
• Proficient in accounting software (Oddo) and MS Excel
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory control, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
