Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team in a manufacturing company. The candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting activities, invoice processing, reconciliations, documentation, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
• Record purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses, receipts, and payments.
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, delivery documents, and supporting records.
• Prepare and maintain vouchers, ledgers, and accounting documents.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with inventory and stock-related accounting records.
• Support monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Assist in tracking outstanding customer receivables and supplier payables.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
• Coordinate with purchase, sales, stores, production, and other departments regarding accounting matters.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and information.
• Identify discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting issues.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting; freshers with relevant knowledge may also apply.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting practices is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience with Tally / ERP / accounting software is an advantage.
• Good numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Manufacturing or industrial accounting experience.
• Understanding of purchase, inventory, and production-related transactions.
• Ability to work with large volumes of invoices and financial data.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
