Junior Accountant

Accountant – ICONIC GROUP

ICONIC GROUP is looking for a responsible and experienced Accountant for our Bhubaneswar office. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, billing, GST-related work, banking transactions and maintaining proper financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounts in Tally
• Sales and purchase entries
• Prepare invoices, quotations and other accounting documents
• GST invoicing and GST-related accounting work
• Maintain purchase, sales, expense and payment records
• Bank reconciliation and cash/bank entries
• Maintain customer and supplier ledgers
• Monitor receivables, payables and outstanding payments
• Coordinate with customers/vendors regarding accounts and payments
• Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance
• Maintain proper documentation of bills, vouchers and invoices
• Prepare basic MIS/accounting reports as required by management

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.Com / M.Com or relevant accounting qualification
• Knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime
• Good knowledge of GST and basic TDS
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Understanding of accounting, billing and bank reconciliation
• Previous accounting experience preferred
• Good communication and documentation skills
