Junior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive with 1 to 2 years of experience to support day-to-day accounting and finance activities.

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / accounting software.
• Handles accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare and maintain bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
• Assist in preparation invoices, supporting documents, and expense claims.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices, vouchers, and other financial records.
• Follow up with customers/vendors for outstanding payments and documentation, as required.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support the senior accounts team during audits and statutory compliance.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of assigned accounting activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• 12 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance operations.
• Good working knowledge of Tally / ERP accounting software.
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
