Junior Accountant

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team at Baked Cakes and Pastries.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries
• Maintain sales, purchase, expense, and payment records
• Prepare invoices, vouchers, and other accounting documents
• Record cash and bank transactions
• Maintain proper documentation of bills and expenses
• Assist with bank reconciliation and account reconciliation
• Assist in maintaining branch-wise accounts and records
• Support payroll and salary-related accounting work
• Assist with GST, TDS, and other accounting requirements
• Prepare daily and monthly accounting reports
• Coordinate with branches and other departments for accounting-related matters
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting tasks

Requirements:

• B.Com or equivalent qualification preferred
• Previous experience in accounting is preferred; freshers with relevant knowledge may also apply
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Knowledge of Tally and MS Excel
• Basic understanding of GST and TDS
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
