Junior Accountant

A leading company in the Kingdom of Bahrain seeks to employ locally available Junior Accountants to join the team

Job Description:

• Handle daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
• Assist in monthly and yearly closing processes
• Prepare financial reports and supporting documents
• Maintain petty cash records and expense tracking
• Assist with VAT, tax filing, and other compliance requirements
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required documents when needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Qualification:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• 3 to 5 years of experience as an Accountant position.
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English
• Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office and any other accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team with minimal supervision
• Knowledge in Tally or other accounting software's.
