Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Issue receipts for all modes of payment and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Perform daily receipt knock-off and allocation against the relevant customer accounts.
• Prepare and maintain daily collection reports.
• Verify payment details and supporting documents to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain proper records of receipts, collections, and payment transactions.
• Coordinate with the Finance, Accounts, Treasury, and Collections teams to resolve payment discrepancies.
• Assist with daily accounting activities, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Ensure timely updating of accounting records and adherence to company procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and payment processing.
• Good numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage daily deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: AED1.00 per month
