Junior Accountant

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Manama. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing day-to-day accounting activities while ensuring accurate financial records and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and update daily accounting transactions.
• Monitor daily income, expenses, payments, and receipts.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Track outstanding payments, receivables, and financial commitments.
• Monitor daily sales collections and coordinate with the sales team.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and verify financial transactions.
• Assist with payroll preparation, salary adjustments, advances, and deductions.
• Maintain and update accounting records using Excel and accounting software.
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, financial statements, and budget reports.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial analysis and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and Bahrain VAT regulations.
• Assist with financial audits and other accounting-related tasks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Zoho Books or Zoho Accounting Software is preferred.
• Knowledge of Bahrain VAT regulations is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
