Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Transaction Recording: Enter daily financial data, post journal entries, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledgers to find and fix discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting: Help compile monthly balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and basic financial reports.
• Closing Support: Assist senior team members with month-end and year-end closing tasks.
• Compliance: Follow basic tax rules, maintain file organization, and keep financial records confidential.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical training).
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software like QuickBooks or Xero.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on data accuracy and basic analytical skills.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
