Junior Accountant

Job Summary

Max Holding is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, revenue collection, cash handling, bank transactions, bookkeeping, and financial record maintenance. The candidate will coordinate with the CFO and management to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely account closing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage E-01 revenue collection and reconcile check-in/check-out forms with sales records.
• Submit collected revenue to the CEO's office and manage requisition payments and cash disbursements.
• Verify delivery notes and close requisitions accordingly.
• Handle daily bank deposits, withdrawals, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain bookkeeping records, accounting data, and physical files for receipts and payments.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain Maxim receipts and payment records.
• Support accounts, finance, and costing activities.
• Provide financial data and supporting documents to the CFO for monthly GST filings and annual audits.
• Close the books of accounts by the 29th of each month and prepare a draft Profit & Loss Statement.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management and the CFO.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1 - 2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, cash management, and financial documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical accuracy, organizational skills, integrity, and attention to detail.
