Junior Accountant

About the Job:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accounts Executive to support the accounts and operations team at Soul & Scents, a Mumbai-based fragrance brand. The ideal candidate should have experience in accounting data entry, invoicing, reconciliation and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter sales, purchase, expense and inventory data in Zoho and Tally.
• Prepare and record sales invoices, purchase bills, credit notes and debit notes.
• Record marketplace and quick-commerce sales data (Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart).
• Maintain customer and vendor ledgers.
• Perform bank reconciliation and match payments against invoices.
• Track receivables, payables and pending vendor payments.
• Support GST data preparation (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B data, input credit matching).
• Maintain petty cash and expense records.
• Organise and file invoices, bills and supporting documents.
• Prepare basic MIS reports and Excel trackers for the accounts team.

Required Skills:

• B.Com or equivalent degree.
• 1–3 years of experience in data entry or junior accounting.
• Working knowledge of Tally and/or Zoho Books.
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS and invoicing.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data cleaning).
• Strong accuracy, typing speed and attention to detail.
• Experience with e-commerce or FMCG accounts is a plus.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
