Junior Accountant

We are looking for a motivated, positive and keen Accountant who will be completing accounting, compliance and tax related work from start to finish.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1 year Australian/Philippine accounting and taxation experience

• Experience in the preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns

• Competent with computer operations as well as some specific applications, such as Xero, MYOB, Microsoft Word, Excel, outlook

• Experience with relevant accounting systems

• The person must be keen to learn and develop their computer competencies

• Particularly good in verbal and written English communication skills

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation of income tax returns and financial statements
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly BIR returns
• Prepare P & L and cash flow budgets for the company
• Payroll Processing and Year end finalisations
• Manage a day-to-day operational task Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Manage tax compliance requirements
• Working closely with the managers to understand their business intimately
• Contributing to policies, procedures and related controls to ensure efficiency and continuing improvement
• Assist Clients with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Queries
• Attending client meeting and Assisting clients where required in developing their own internal administration and financial systems and process.
