Junior Accountant – Leasing

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting and administration of our Leasing Business. The role will focus on rental billing, tenant accounts, collections, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue monthly rental invoices and ensure timely billing.
• Maintain accurate records of tenants, leases, deposits, and rental collections.
• Monitor accounts receivable and overdue rentals and follow up with tenants.
• Record and reconcile rental income, deposits, payments, and leasing-related expenses.
• Assist in monitoring lease renewals, expiries, vacancies, and rental rates.
• Prepare monthly leasing reports on revenue, collections, outstanding balances, and expenses.
• Perform bank and tenant account reconciliations.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of lease and accounting records.
• Assist the Finance team with monthly closing and P&L reporting.
• Identify and escalate billing, collection, or accounting issues to the Finance Manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years' relevant accounting experience; leasing/property accounting experience is an advantage.
• Experience with Zoho Books is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Key Focus

The successful candidate will help ensure that all rentals are billed correctly, collections are followed up, tenant accounts are reconciled, and Management has accurate and timely financial information on the leasing business.

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month
