Junior Accounting Analyst

Start Date: January 2027

Job Description:

We're looking for a Junior Accounting Analyst to join our team. The main focus of this role is preparing draft T1 Personal and T2 Corporation tax returns for review by a senior analyst, along with supporting bookkeeping and financial analysis work.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Process payroll and maintain employee records
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Preparation of T1 Personal tax returns & T2 Corporation tax returns (including but not limited to verifying documentation and entering data)

Requirements

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting or related field

• Preferred: Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Protax Tax Software

• Proficient in Micosoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

• Strong understanding of financial services and principles

• Experience with account reconciliation and financial analysis

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
