Junior Accounting Assistant (JO-2648)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
• Open to fresh graduates
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in QuickBooks Online, including invoices, payments, purchase orders, and journal entries.
• Organize, update, and maintain client financial records and accounting documents.
• Monitor daily and weekly cash balances and assist in preparing cash flow reports as needed.
• Assist in preparing checks, processing payments, and monitoring accounts payable.
• Support payroll processing, including payroll computations and preparation of mandatory government contributions.
• Review bank statements and assist with bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Gather and organize supporting documents for monthly tax filings and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing basic financial reports and schedules for management.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting records and ensure completeness of supporting documents.
• Provide administrative support to the Accounting team, including data encoding, document preparation, and other accounting-related tasks.
