Junior Accounts Admin (Logistics Ind)

Company Background:

Our client is an established Singapore-based freight forwarding and logistics company providing a comprehensive range of shipping solutions to customers locally and internationally. With a strong network of overseas agency partners, the company handles various types of cargo and provides reliable, efficient and cost-effective freight services.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities
• Prepare invoices, SOA, and payment vouchers as well as follow up on outstanding payments and update collection records
• Assist with bank and vendor statement reconciliations
• Update receipts, payments, and accounting records
• Assist with audit and GST-related documentation when required
• Attend to phone calls, emails, visitors, and general enquiries
• Manage office suppliers and inventory as well as check incoming orders and deliveries
• Provide administrative support to the Sales and Operations teams
• Assist with company events and basic HR administration when necessary

Requirements:

• NITEC / Diploma in Accountancy, Business Administration or related discipline(s)
• 1 - 2 years of relevant accounts or administrative experience
• Basic knowledge of AR, AP, and bookkeeping
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience with Odoo ERP is an advantage
