What they need
- Data Entry: Accurately record financial transactions, including invoices, expenses, and payments, into the accounting system.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assist in processing supplier invoices and following up on outstanding customer payments.
- Bank Reconciliation: Help reconcile bank statements with internal ledgers to ensure all records are current and accurate.
- Documentation: Maintain a digital and physical filing system for financial documents, such as receipts, tax records, and vouchers.
- Reporting Support: Assist senior accountants in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial summaries.
- Technical Proficiency: Foundational knowledge of Tally Prime or similar ERP software.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas).
- Accounting Principles: A solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and GST/taxation basics.
