Junior Accounts Payable Clerk

We are looking to add an Junior Accounts Payable Clerk to our team to support our day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to build on their experience or a recent graduate looking to put their education and internship experience into practice.

What You'll Do

• Process and enter Accounts Payable invoices and ensure payments are made within applicable terms
• Assist with Accounts Receivable, including posting and applying customer payments
• Review invoices, payments, and account information for accuracy
• Assist with account and bank reconciliations
• Process ACH, check, wire, and other payments as needed
• Research and resolve invoice and account discrepancies
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Assist with month-end accounting activities
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and accounting reports
• Enter and update financial information in the accounting system

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Accounting OR relevant accounting experience
• 6 months - 3+ years of accounting experience (internships will be considered)
• Comfortable working with numbers and large amounts of detailed information
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Organized with good time-management skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Pay: $16.00 - $30.79 per hour
