What they need
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, Service Desk, Technical Support, or a related IT role.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration, including: User, group, and computer account management, Organizational Units (OUs), Permissions and access management.
- Hands on experience with Active Directory Domain Controller. (must-have)
- Hands on experience with DNS (must-have)
- Knowledge/experience in FSMO (Flexible Single Master Operations) (must-have)
- Basic understanding of Windows Server administration and core services such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Basic knowledge of Group Policy (GPO) and policy application.
- Basic troubleshooting skills, including reviewing logs, identifying common issues, following troubleshooting procedures, and escalating complex issues.
- Basic exposure to PowerShell for administrative tasks, reporting, or simple automation.
- Basic awareness of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and hybrid identity concepts.
- Knowledge or exposure to Azure AD Connect / hybrid identity synchronization is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Windows Admin Center is a plus.
- Exposure to VMware or Hyper-V, backup concepts, and basic networking is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of ITIL, incident management, change management, and service delivery processes is preferred.
- Good communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop a career in IT Infrastructure, Identity, or Systems Administration.
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams and follow established security and operational procedures.
