About The Role We are looking for a qualified Junior Advisor to build practical experience in financial advisory services. You will work with clients on onboarding, servicing and routine portfolio reviews, manage smaller or less complex client relationships, and develop your advisory skills with guidance and case sign-off from a Senior Advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client onboarding, servicing and routine portfolio reviews under senior supervision.
• Prepare and provide advice on client cases, ensuring every case is signed off by a Senior Advisor before it is actioned.
• Manage a book of smaller or lower-complexity client relationships with senior oversight.
• Take on progressively more complex cases as you demonstrate competence.
• Support Senior Advisors with research and preparatory work for more complex client cases.
• Maintain accurate client records and follow internal compliance and conduct requirements.

Experience And Qualifications

• Holds the recognised advisory qualification required to provide investment and insurance advice.
• Has progressed from a Trainee Advisor role, or is an external candidate with an equivalent qualification and 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in both Maltese and English.

• Able to apply advisory knowledge carefully to individual client needs.
• Clear communication and the ability to explain financial information in an accessible way.
• Accuracy and attention to detail in client documentation and case preparation.
• Good organisation and ownership of client follow-up.
• Sound judgement, a commitment to compliance and openness to senior feedback.

Supervision and development

You will work under the supervision of a Senior Advisor. Every advisory case requires senior sign-off before it is actioned, while you build the practical experience and competence needed to handle standard cases independently.

Further progression requires a minimum of 12 to 18 months of supervised live advisory practice, consistently accurate client work with minimal correction at sign-off, and a clean compliance and conduct record. The Senior Advisor and management must agree that sign-off is no longer required for standard cases.
